Jaffa, 4th-6th century CE. Tombstone. Funerary.

White limestone slab. Smooth face, rough edges.

Broken on left side.

Deeply inscribed, Greek letters more confidently and skillfully written than the Hebrew ones. Right diagonal stroke of alpha, delta and lambda extended upwards, alpha has a broken crossbar, and the omega is rounded.

Discovered in Cave B, face down in front of the entrance to the eastern chamber.
