Ossuary has inner ledge on three sides and flat, sliding lid. Name is inscribed on the chest's front side in vertical descent. Sometimes spelled as Ἰωσής, a contracted form of Ἰωσήπος/יהוסף (like the more common Ἰωσή that corresponds to Talmudic יוסי), and a common name of the period.
