The word רמתא in the first line may be a (common) toponym or can likewise be derived from the noun רמה, "hill, height": eitherway, it might specify the origin of the grain. Since the second line is incomplete, we cannot know whether the reference is to the First or Second Adar. The mention of a place of origin and the date may hint to the fact that the ostrakon was part of a docket.
