Galilee. Sepphoris. 400-500 CE. Synagogue. Black and white floor mosaic. Dedication.

Inscription is two parts stretched across the upper part of the second mosaic band, a three-panel composition featuring the Torah shrine flanked by two menorot. Inscription 2, I is in two lines above the lefthand menorah and inscription 2, II is above the righthand menorah. The central portion of the text is missing; it must have consisted of three lines symmetrically in the middle panel. 400-500 CE Galilee Sepphoris
