+ ἐτέλεσεν τὸν δρόμον καὶ ἐνθάδε κατετήθη ὁ τρισμακάριος Ἰωάννης Στεφάνου πρεσβύτεροςμηνὶ Ἀπελλαίου κʹ ἰνδικτιῶνος γʹ ἔτους φθʹ δουλεύσας τῇ ἐκκλησίᾳ ἐν Χριστῷ.

+ Completed the race, and here was laid thrice blessed John (son) of Stephan, priest, on the 20th of the month of Apellaius, in the 3rd indiction-year, in the eyar 509. Having served the Church in Christ.

The phrase from the first two lines comes from 1 Tim 4:7. The final line uses phrasing from 1 Cor 1:2, 1 Cor 10:12, Gal 1:13, 1 Thes 2:14.
