Ἐπὶ τοῦ ἁγίου καὶ μακαριοτάτουμακαριοτάτου ἡμῶν πατρὸς καὶ ἐπισκόπου Μεγάλου ἐγενετο τὸ πᾶν ἔργον τῆς ψηφώσες τοῦ ἁγίου μαρτυρίου Θεοδώρου

Under our holy and truly blessed father and bishop Megas, the entire work of the mosaic in the holy martyrion of Theodoros was executed.

Staab and Eisenberg understand this church to be a martyrion dedicated to Theodoros Tiron of Amaseia.
