White and purple sandstone, almost square in shape

Broken at the lower right corner. The inscribed surface is flaked off at the top and at the bottom

Round and square script of unprofessional quality, with carelessly cut and aligned letters

Palm branch flanked by two diagonally placed floral motifs Above the inscription Two incised crosses outlined with rhomboid serifs. The one on the right has a vertical bar which ends in an omega-like sign. Above each cross an horizontal bar is incised Flanking the text on either sides, and covering the height of two lines

Monument of Kyriake, daughter of Seal(l)os, who died having a good name and good faith at the age of 17 years, in the year 329.

The numerous vulgarisms indicate that this tombstone is not authentic and was produced by an engraver ignorant of Greek. The transcription provided has been edited by the original authors using the original epitaph to correct the numerous mistakes in the copy.
