- Private API usage is allowed in this project when necessary since it is a Mac app that's not distributed in the App Store, but avoid it if at all possible
- Some files in the project have the traditional Xcode copyright header comment, but any new files you create should have no file header comment
- **NEVER** try to use the Computer Use skill as a workaround for a broken MCP integration; ask the user to fix the integration before continuing
