# Onkod Keyboard Privacy Policy Effective Date: August 29, 2026 Last Updated: August 29, 2026 Onkod Keyboard (“Onkod,” “we,” “our,” or “the app”) respects your privacy. Onkod is designed with a privacy-first approach: keyboard processing, clipboard features, and personalized typing features operate locally on your device. Onkod does not operate a server for collecting your typing data, and your typed content is not uploaded to us. ## 1. Information We Collect Onkod Keyboard does not collect personal data from you. We do not collect, upload, transmit, or store on external servers: - Text you type - Passwords - Messages - Search queries - Clipboard contents - Screenshots stored in the clipboard - Personalized learned words - Typing patterns - Contacts - Photos - Files - Location - Device identifiers for tracking - Advertising identifiers - Browsing activity Onkod does not maintain user accounts or cloud profiles. ## 2. Text You Type Onkod Keyboard must process keystrokes locally in order to function as a keyboard. The text you type is processed on your device for features such as entering text, predictive text, word suggestions, spell checking, auto replacement, emoji suggestions, and other enabled smart typing features. Your typed text is not sent to Onkod servers or any external server. Onkod does not remotely monitor what you type. ## 3. Personalized Predictions and On-Device Learning Onkod may provide personalized text predictions by learning from your typing. When personalized learning is enabled, learning takes place entirely on your device. Learned words and typing patterns remain on your device, are not uploaded to Onkod, are not shared with third parties, are not used for advertising, and are not used to create a remote user profile. Users can disable personalized prediction or learning features through Onkod Keyboard settings. Users can also clear learned words and personalized typing data from the keyboard settings. Where Android identifies an input field as a password or another sensitive authentication field, Onkod does not intentionally use that content for personalized learning. ## 4. Predictive Text Predictive text may analyze the words being typed locally to provide relevant suggestions. Prediction processing occurs locally on your device. Enabling predictive text does not cause your typed content to be uploaded to Onkod. You can enable or disable predictive text at any time from the keyboard settings. ## 5. Clipboard Onkod includes clipboard functionality that may allow you to view recently copied content, reuse clipboard items, pin clipboard items, delete clipboard items, and store screenshots in the clipboard when that feature is enabled. Clipboard content is handled locally on your device. Onkod does not upload clipboard contents to a server and does not share clipboard contents with third parties. You can delete clipboard items or clear clipboard history through the keyboard interface or settings. Pinned clipboard items may remain stored locally until you manually remove them. ## 6. Screenshots Saved to Clipboard If you enable “Save screenshots to clipboard,” screenshots may appear in Onkod's local clipboard history. These screenshots remain on your device. Onkod does not upload, transmit, analyze remotely, or store those screenshots on an Onkod server. You can disable this feature at any time. ## 7. Sensitive Information Because keyboards may be used in many types of applications, users may sometimes enter sensitive information. Onkod is designed to minimize unnecessary storage of sensitive input. Onkod does not intentionally collect or transmit passwords, PIN codes, one-time passwords, payment credentials, or authentication information. Sensitive input must not be used for remote profiling or remote training because Onkod does not transmit typing data to external servers. ## 8. Internet and Servers Onkod Keyboard does not require an Onkod account or Onkod cloud server for its core keyboard functionality. Typing, predictions, learning, and clipboard processing are designed to operate locally on your device. Onkod does not maintain a database containing users' typed text. ## 9. Advertising and Tracking Onkod does not use your typed content for advertising. Onkod does not sell your personal information or typing data. Onkod does not create advertising profiles based on what you type and does not share your keyboard input with advertisers. ## 10. Analytics and Tracking Technologies Onkod does not use your typed text for analytics or behavioral tracking. If analytics, crash reporting, advertising, cloud synchronization, or other network-based services are added to Onkod in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated to accurately explain what information those services process. ## 11. Third-Party Data Sharing Onkod does not sell, rent, or share your typed text, personalized typing data, or clipboard content with third parties. Because personalized typing and clipboard processing are performed locally, this information does not need to be transferred to Onkod for those features to work. ## 12. Data Storage Certain information may be stored locally on your device to provide features you choose to use. This may include learned words, personalized prediction information, keyboard preferences, clipboard history, pinned clipboard items, text shortcuts, language preferences, and keyboard configuration. This locally stored information remains on your device and is not stored on Onkod servers. ## 13. Data Retention Local data may remain on your device for as long as necessary to provide the feature associated with it. Learned words may remain until you clear learned data. Clipboard entries may remain according to the clipboard's retention behavior. Pinned clipboard items may remain until you remove them. Keyboard preferences may remain until they are changed, cleared, or the app is uninstalled. Because Onkod does not maintain server-side user profiles containing this information, there is no corresponding Onkod cloud database from which this information needs to be deleted. ## 14. Deleting Your Data You remain in control of locally stored Onkod data. Depending on the feature, you may delete data by clearing learned words and personalized data, clearing clipboard history, deleting individual clipboard items, removing pinned clipboard items, resetting keyboard settings, clearing the app's data through Android settings, or uninstalling Onkod Keyboard. Clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app generally removes locally stored Onkod application data from the device, subject to Android system behavior. ## 15. Permissions Onkod may request or rely on Android capabilities necessary to provide keyboard-related functionality. Permissions or system access are used only for the functionality for which they are required. Onkod does not use keyboard permissions as a means to secretly collect or transmit what you type. The exact permissions available may depend on your Android version and the Onkod features you enable. ## 16. Input Method Access Android keyboards operate as Input Method Editors (IMEs). As a result, Onkod must receive the keystrokes you enter while Onkod is the active keyboard. This access is necessary for Onkod to enter text into applications. Receiving text for local keyboard processing does not mean that Onkod sends that text to us. Your keyboard input is processed locally according to the functionality described in this Privacy Policy. ## 17. Children's Privacy Onkod does not knowingly collect personal information from children or adults through its keyboard input because typed content is not transmitted to Onkod servers. Onkod does not use children's typed content for advertising or remote profiling. Parents and guardians should manage device and application access as appropriate for their children. ## 18. Security Onkod is designed to minimize privacy risks by keeping keyboard processing and personalized information on the user's device whenever possible. No method of software storage can guarantee absolute security. However, avoiding unnecessary transmission of typing data reduces exposure associated with remote collection and storage. Users should also keep their Android device, operating system, and applications appropriately secured. ## 19. No Sale of Personal Data Onkod does not sell your personal information. Onkod does not sell typed text, clipboard content, learned words, typing patterns, or keyboard usage content. ## 20. Changes to This Privacy Policy We may update this Privacy Policy when Onkod's features, technology, or legal requirements change. If a future version of Onkod introduces functionality that changes how user information is processed, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this policy indicates when the policy was most recently revised. ## 21.
