Data Stored on Your Device

AmblyoPal stores gameplay data locally on your device. We do not operate our own backend servers for user accounts or gameplay data.

The following information is stored locally:

* Calibration settings — Your red/blue lens intensity preferences for anaglyph glasses.
* Play credits — A count of how many free plays you have used today, stored securely using encrypted on-device storage.
* Streak and progress data — Daily play streaks, session history, and game performance metrics to support gameplay features.
* Subscription status — Whether you have an active Pro subscription, cached locally so the App can function without repeated network checks.

Anonymous Analytics

To help improve AmblyoPal, we collect limited anonymous analytics using PostHog.

This analytics data may include:

* App launches
* Games opened
* Game attempts started
* Game sessions completed
* Session duration
* Paywall views
* Anonymous device and installation identifiers generated by the analytics SDK

This information:

* does not identify you personally
* is not linked to your identity
* is not used for advertising
* is not used for cross-app or cross-website tracking
* is used solely to understand how people use the App and to improve its features and performance.

PostHog Analytics

We use PostHog to collect anonymous usage analytics that help us understand how the App is used and improve the user experience.

PostHog receives anonymous event data and anonymous device identifiers but does not receive information such as your name or email address through the App.

Apple In-App Purchases
AmblyoPal offers an optional Pro subscription ($4.99/month) through Apple's App Store. When you subscribe, the transaction is handled entirely by Apple. We do not receive or store your payment information, credit card number, or Apple ID. Apple's handling of your purchase data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Apple App Store
The App is distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple may collect certain usage and diagnostic data as described in their privacy policy. We do not have access to this data unless you opt in to sharing it with developers through Apple's settings.

Children's Privacy
AmblyoPal may be used by children with parent or guardian supervision. Because we do not collect personal information, create accounts, or transmit personal data off-device, the App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction).

Data Retention and Deletion
All data is stored locally on your device. We do not retain personal data on external servers. You can generally delete App data at any time by uninstalling AmblyoPal from your device, subject to your device settings and any backups you may have enabled.

Subscription Management
You can manage or cancel your Pro subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings. Go to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on your device, or visit https://apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
