April 2013 - Lasso, Ecuador

TEKWW's first successful project

The TEKWW team travelled to Ecuador for their initial project over spring break from April 8 - 11. The objective for that trip was to visit the Juan Manuel Lasso School in Lasso, Cotopaxi Province, Ecuador. A computer lab of 10 Raspberry Pi devices was assembled, and an inauguration assembly held. Educational programs on the computers now supplement the curriculum of elementary-age students attending the school. Our vision of spreading education through technology was met.
