## Problem

An authorized user needs a source video turned into a small set of social-ready vertical clips with bounded rendering, transparent limits and governed downstream distribution.

## Inputs

Authorized source video. Current customer renderer is bounded to 35 MiB. Optional source duration, desired social goal and target platforms improve planning.

## Outputs

Up to 3 planned or rendered vertical clips, 8-45 seconds each, with 720x1280 MP4 H.264/AAC output in the authenticated paid workflow. Clip V2 adds clean/bold/documentary/property creative direction, source-grounded caption cues, and distinct Facebook/LinkedIn/Instagram copy. Public agent tools remain discovery and non-executing planning only.

## Pricing

Canonical customer price is $4.99 one-time (499 cents USD). An authenticated Clip checkout control plane and provider-verification path are deployed, but the live checkout gateway currently reports payment authority unconfigured, so this must not be represented as sell-now yet.

## Invocation and authority

LIVE: Clip Production Engine V2, Customer Clip Studio, read-only Creative Director planning, and an authenticated checkout/provider-verification control plane are deployed. The live checkout offer reports 499 cents USD, explicit confirmation required, checkout creation not payment proof, and checkout_configured=false. Machine checkout is not enabled. ForensiScope remains the overflow path for oversized or full-timeline media.

Public discovery and planning create no payment obligation. Customer checkout requires an authenticated human and explicit $4.99 confirmation; rendering remains locked until Stripe reports paid + complete and exact amount, currency, and order metadata all verify.

Payment authority: Evercraft Clip clipCheckoutGateway + Stripe provider verification. Control plane is deployed and fail-closed; live gateway observed 2026-09-28 with checkout_configured=false, so payment creation remains unavailable until server-side authority is provisioned.

Discovery does not create a payment obligation. Human confirmation is required before checkout where checkout exists. Checkout creation is not proof of payment.
