# SoulPact Terms of Use **Last Updated:** January 2025 **Effective Date:** January 2025 --- ## 1. Acceptance of Terms Welcome to SoulPact ("the App," "we," or "our"). By downloading, installing, accessing, or using this App, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App. --- ## 2. App Description SoulPact is a mobile application designed to help you with spiritual growth and self-awareness. The App provides the following main features: - Create and manage spiritual vows - Record daily mood and practice - Write micro diaries - Mark precious moments - View growth trajectory and analysis - Data export and backup - iCloud sync (optional) --- ## 3. Account and Registration ### 3.1 Account Requirements No account creation is required to use this App. All data is stored locally on your device or synced via iCloud to devices associated with your Apple ID. ### 3.2 Apple ID Certain features (such as iCloud sync and in-app purchases) require the use of your Apple ID. Your use of Apple ID is subject to Apple's Terms of Service. --- ## 4. Subscription Services ### 4.1 Subscription Types The App offers the following subscription options: - **Monthly Subscription**: Billed monthly, auto-renewing - **Annual Subscription**: Billed annually, auto-renewing - **Lifetime Subscription**: One-time purchase, valid permanently ### 4.2 Auto-Renewal Monthly and annual subscriptions will automatically renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. ### 4.3 Cancellation You can cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple device settings: 1. Open the "Settings" app 2. Tap your name 3. Select "Subscriptions" 4. Find your SoulPact subscription 5. Tap "Cancel Subscription" After cancellation, you will continue to enjoy subscription benefits until the end of the current billing period. ### 4.4 Refunds Subscription fees are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be made through Apple and are subject to Apple's refund policy. ### 4.5 Price Changes We reserve the right to change subscription prices. Price changes will take effect upon renewal, and we will notify you in advance. --- ## 5. User Conduct By using this App, you agree to: 1. **Use Legally**: Use the App only for lawful purposes 2. **No Abuse**: Not attempt to disrupt, interfere with, or harm the App's functionality 3. **Respect Others**: Not include any illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, or otherwise objectionable content 4. **No Infringement**: Not infringe upon any third party's intellectual property or other rights 5. **Accurate Information**: Provide true and accurate information (where applicable) --- ## 6. Intellectual Property ### 6.1 App Ownership The App and all its content (including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, and software) are the property of SoulPact or its content providers and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. ### 6.2 User Content All content you create (spiritual vows, practice records, diaries, etc.) belongs to you. By using the App, you grant us a license to use, store, and sync this content, but only for providing App functionality. ### 6.3 Use Restrictions You may not, without our explicit written permission: - Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or rent the App or any part thereof - Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App - Remove or modify any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices --- ## 7. Data Ownership and Responsibility ### 7.1 Your Data You have complete ownership of all data you create through this App. You can at any time: - View your data - Export your data - Delete your data ### 7.2 Data Backup We strongly recommend that you regularly back up your data using the App's data export feature. Although we provide iCloud sync functionality, we are not responsible for data loss. ### 7.3 Data Deletion If you delete the App, local data will be deleted. Data in iCloud may be retained or deleted according to your iCloud settings. --- ## 8. Service Availability ### 8.1 Service Interruptions We strive to ensure continuous availability of the App, but do not guarantee: - The App will always be available or uninterrupted - The App will be error-free or defect-free - All features will work as expected ### 8.2 Maintenance We may temporarily interrupt service for maintenance, updates, or other reasons without prior notice. ### 8.3 Service Termination We reserve the right to terminate or suspend the App or any part thereof at any time without prior notice. --- ## 9. Disclaimer ### 9.1 No Warranty The App is provided "as is" without any express or implied warranties, including but not limited to: - Warranties of merchantability - Warranties of fitness for a particular purpose - Warranties of non-infringement - Warranties of accuracy, completeness, or timeliness ### 9.2 Medical Advice The App does not provide medical, psychological, or professional advice. The App is intended for personal growth and self-awareness only and is not a substitute for professional medical or mental health services. Indemnification You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SoulPact and its owners, employees, agents, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from: - Your violation of these Terms - Your use of the App - Your infringement of any third party's rights --- ## 12. Third-Party Services The App may use third-party services (such as Apple's iCloud, StoreKit, etc.). These services are subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the actions or content of third-party services. --- ## 13. Modification of Terms We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. For significant changes, we will: - Notify you within the App - Update the "Last Updated" date of these Terms Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. --- ## 14.
