# Project Opener MCP Server

This MCP server provides tools for interacting with project files from Claude Desktop.

This MCP server requires the use of the Filesystem MCP Server, which can be found at:
https://github.com/modelcontextprotocol/servers/tree/main/src/filesystem

## Installation

1. Install Node.js (v18.x or later) from [nodejs.org](https://nodejs.org/)
2. Clone this repository
3. Install dependencies:
```bash
npm install
```

## Usage with Claude Desktop

1. In Claude Desktop, go to Settings > MCP Servers
2. Add a new server with these settings:

## Available Tools

### Open Project
Opens a project in the default editor

**Parameters:**
- `path`: Relative path to project

**Example:**
```json

  "arguments": {
    "path": "my-project"

```

### Get Project Info
Gets information about a specific project

**Parameters:**
- `path`: Relative path to project
