Pickems Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 16, 2026
Pickems (“we”, “us”) is a college football pick’em app for private and public leagues. This policy explains what data we collect and how it is used.
Data we collect
- Account information: email address (email/password sign-in), Apple Sign In identifiers, display name
- Profile: optional avatar photo, optional favorite team
- League activity: group memberships, picks, nominations, standings contributions, invite codes you create or use
- Device: push notification tokens (for game/result alerts)
- Diagnostics: crash and performance signals via Firebase Crashlytics (when enabled)
How we use data
We use this data only to operate Pickems: authenticate you, power leagues and scoring, deliver notifications you enable, personalize theming, and keep the service reliable.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use your data for third-party advertising.
Sharing
- Firebase / Google Cloud hosts authentication, database, storage, and messaging for Pickems
- ESPN public APIs provide college football schedules and scores (no personal account data is sent to ESPN)
- Other league members can see your display name, avatar, picks (when revealed by league rules), and standings
Account deletion
You can delete your account in the app: Profile → Delete Account. This removes your authentication account, profile document, and avatar, and removes you from leagues (sole-commissioner leagues are dissolved).
