# The best product marketing companies are those you admire but have never worked at.

## Claim
Name a company that you think has great Product Marketing, THAT YOU'VE NEVER WORKED AT. This is one of my favorite questions to ask every time I meet with PMMs. The answers I've heard most this past quarter is: Notion, Figma, Canva, Atlassian.

## Mechanism
Asking for external examples reveals genuine industry admiration and benchmarks, avoiding internal bias. It surfaces companies that have built strong PMM reputations through observable outcomes and brand perception.
