# Privacy Policy — NFC Reader Pro

This Privacy Policy explains how *NFC Reader Pro* (the "App") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use the App. The App is an on-device tool for scanning and reading NFC tags, and for scanning barcodes/QR codes. We will publish the app on the Google Play Store under the developer account **Developing Buddy**.

## 1. Summary — what this policy covers

* The App performs NFC and camera-based scanning features that require device permissions.
* By default the App processes scans locally on your device and does **not** store any data or use local storage.
* We do **not** collect or store personal information on our servers.
* The App is suitable for all ages and contains no sexual or inappropriate content.

## 2. Information the App may access

### NFC data

* The App reads NFC tags. The data read from NFC tags (e.g., NDEF records, text, URLs) is accessible to the App while you are using NFC features.
* Depending on the content, the App may redirect you to your phone app or a browser. No data is downloaded or stored.

### Camera (barcode / QR scanning)

* To scan barcodes and QR codes the App requires access to your device camera. Scanned data is processed temporarily on-device to decode the barcode/QR content.

### Local storage

* The App does **not** store any scanned data or files on your device. All processing is in-memory and temporary.

## 3. How we use the information

* **On-device processing:** NFC, barcode, and QR data are processed temporarily on your device to display results and perform redirection.
* **No storage or export:** The App does not save or export any data.
* **Redirection:** Depending on the content read, the App may redirect you to the appropriate phone app or browser. This action is performed immediately; no data is kept.

## 4. Data sharing and third parties

* **No sharing by default:** We do not collect, sell, rent, or trade your NFC or scan data with third parties.
* **Service providers:** The App may use third-party libraries for barcode decoding, NFC support, or UI components. These libraries run locally within the App and do not upload your content.
* **Publishing & analytics:** The App does not collect analytics or crash reports unless explicitly added in a future version with user consent.

## 5. Permissions explained

The App may request the following permissions; these are needed for the explained functionality:

* **NFC:** Required to detect and read NFC tags.
* **Camera:** Required for barcode/QR scanning.

You can revoke these permissions in your device settings at any time. Revoking a permission will prevent related features from working.

## 6. Data retention and deletion

* The App does **not** retain any scanned data. All data is processed temporarily in-memory and cleared after use.

* We take reasonable technical measures to ensure that scanned data is processed safely in-memory. No data is uploaded or stored.

* The App is suitable for users of all ages.
* The App contains no sexual or inappropriate content.

## 9. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the App or applicable law. When we make material changes, we will update the "Effective date" at the top of this document. Continued use of the App after changes indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
