karbytes_primary_values
The following list of core values describe what karbytes most prioritizes in its own existence, first-person experience, and behavioral conduct. Those values are ranked in order of importance to karbytes such that 1 denotes the highest-priority core value to karbytes while 5 denotes the lowest-priority core value to karbytes.

1. TRUTH: the way everything is actually configured; reality as an all-encompassing and singular whole.
2. AUTONOMY: the capacity of an information processing agent to set and to achieve its own goals.
3. INNOVATION: the capacity of a system to change in ways which are relatively novel and enabling of that system to survive or to enable information processing agents which exploit that system to more effectively attain their goals.
4. COMFORT: the state of a sentient information processing agent experiencing what it deems to be a tolerable degree of pain especially while that information processing agent experiences pleasure.
5. KINDNESS: the quality of an information processing agent’s behavior attempting to maximize the degree to which all sentient information processing agents experience comfort.
