/** * file: journal_karbytes_05march2026_p1.txt * type: plain-text * date: 05_MARCH_2026 * author: karbytes * license: PUBLIC_DOMAIN */ Apparently karbytes only cares about itself. karbytes would argue that no person is exempt from ultimately only really caring about just itself (and that altruism is really just egotism extending beyond one’s own body, X, to encompass multiple bodies for the sake of ensuring X’s survival and welfare). What karbytes does not usually do is deliberately advertise its altruistic concerns given that the World Wide Web is already saturated with other people’s advertisements of their “worthiness” in the form of “virtue signaling” how much they care about the suffering of children and such. What karbytes noticed is that people (i.e. humans) tend to avoid “boring” subject matter pertaining to actual scientific and technological research and development of practical and scalable solutions to problems (however urgently those solutions are needed) and instead fixate on sensationalist topics (especially where children are used as targets of politically-motivated violence). I think that humans have an implicit craving for warfare and environmental destruction to the point that they induce more of such calamities because such “disasters” give those humans an excuse to essentially be ineffective at implementing effective solutions (both personally and on a larger societal scale). karbytes’ brand is trying to be about focusing mainly on science and technology and lifelong learning, creative expression, and healthy lifestyle habits; not on complaining about other people’s conduct or lamenting over misfortunes (whether personal or societal). What karbytes also noticed is that many people seem to resent karbytes and actively bully karbytes seemingly because karbytes chooses to invest in its own welfare and hermetic lifestyle (i.e. celibacy, solitude, egotism, veganism, wilderness immersion, fitness, studies) instead of in socializing with people who are not as invested in such pursuits. karbytes believes that the people who are most “against karbytes” are those who are envious of karbytes’ opportunities to be unabashedly self-focused and the progress karbytes has made towards its own (socially unconventional and socially unsupported) goals. karbytes believes that such people prefer that karbytes be prevented from being so advanced in its hermetic lifestyle pursuits so as to not offend the insecure relatively underachieving egos of those other people. Finally, karbytes noticed that many other people seem to be more invested in escalating and prolonging conflict (including violence and environmental toxicity/degradation) than they are in preventing further harm. karbytes thinks that those people are vengence-driven (and social status driven) and invested in the goal of causing whoever their “enemies” are to suffer more or indefinitely as punishment for what are perceived to be moral transgressions against them personally. karbytes claims that significantly more self-control, patience, and intellectual effort is required to do what karbytes is doing than what those vengence-driven people are doing. karbytes is focused on personal development while those other people are focused on distracting themselves from feeling insignificant (especially in the minds of other people), powerless (especially over other people), and inadequate (by their own or other people’s standards). So they focus on some “enemy” they can demonize and attack (which provides temporary stress relief). * * * karbytes_0: “It’s not fair that karbytes gets to work on its fitness, academics, and recreational pursuits (and have fun) while many other people are too deprived of free time, opportunities, good health (and able-bodied status), and material/financial resources to similarly partake in such self-enhancement endeavors. karbytes should be prevented by other people from being able to do such things more than the rest of us!” karbytes_1: “Well, to play devil’s advocate, I would suggest that karbytes is not doing anything more immoral than what those other people are doing; especially the ‘choice’ to remain relationally single and sexually celibate (and with zero adopted or biological children). Most of those other people lack the freedom to focus on personal development to the extent karbytes chooses to because those people ‘decided’ to get into committed romantic/sexual/marital relationships and be parents to offspring (which is a time-consuming and economically costly enterprise). karbytes suggested that the human population overall is already trending towards being uncomfortably if not dangerously large and dense to the extent that most people struggle to live comfortably due to the intense competition for limited housing, jobs, material resouces, and even attention from other people. Unlike those compulsive breeders, karbytes is choosing to not contribute to making the competition worse than it already is by remaining a household comprised of exactly one person for the remainder of its existence instead of settling for ‘the patriarchy’s’ implicit agenda to force almost everyone into shared housing with little incentives to do other than indiscriminately procure offspring through compulsive sexual activity (as one of the few and heavily promoted activities available in a world which rewards ‘underachievenent’ and ‘intellectual stuntedness’ and punishes behavior which is not about reducing humans to mere farm animals).” * * * karbytes would go so far as to suggest that femininity (i.e. role-playing as a woman/girl) is obsolete or at least a serious disadvantage compared to masculinity (i.e. role-playing as a man/boy). That is because the human species, by default or at least historically, has strongly pressured women to remain relegated to roles which are obviously subservient to and lower status than men (where the women do little other than bare offspring and provide sex to rapists on demand). Over many generations, humans sexually selected characteristics which created a significant power gap between men and women such that men were guaranteed to always have the upper hand (in a universe where brute strength, endurance, and ruthless cunning reign supreme as the only ‘morals’ at the end of the day). Virtue is ultimately just an arbitrary subjective opinion about what is good or bad for one’s health or hedonistic goal acquisition (and what is good or bad depends on the particular personal perspective; not on some more objective and univerally agreed upon principle). karbytes has described itself as a misogynist, not because it literally hates specific women, but because karbytes feels disdain towards the crippling impairment and ruiner of joy which is femininity. karbytes does not see femininity as beautiful, but rather, grotesque and tragic; a fear-driven, animalistic trance of appealing to brutish authority using sexual attractiveness (i.e. female fertility signs and also a demonstrated lack of oppositional strength and intellect) to compel men to protect and provide for those women instead of simply subjecting those women to violence or neglect. karbytes does not describe itself as a feminist (i.e. someone who loudly advocates for female humans to have civil liberties which are essentially equal to that of men) because karbytes thinks that the category of women is mostly flawed and what should be used instead is the category of “sufficiently sentient information processing agent”. karbytes does not like how women seem to be praised by society merely for being women (which is not an actual achievement of anything other than having a crippling disability men are willing to pay for). karbytes does seek to treat women as men or men-to-be rather than as people expected to be physically and mentally specialized for sexual, reproductive, and menial servitude. karbytes would rather take the focus off sex and gender and instead focus on promoting self-actualization for all persons regardless of sex, gender, age, race, and prior circumstances. karbytes also does not condone keeping crimimanls incarcerated beyond 20 years no matter how “bad” their crimes are because karbytes thinks that doing so is merely punitive rather than genuinely necessary for making society safer. Rather than “make another baby” as the default action to take when problems arise (or when one is bored), karbytes strongly prefers to restore and make the most of the human lives which already exist.
