Solution: 50/50
Answer: PEACE

Each "word" in the puzzle consists of the letters of two words interleaved: for example, WEHEKILNDYU can be disentangled to make WEEKLY and HINDU. In this way, each line can be split up to make two clues whose answers fit the two enumerations given in parentheses, though most of the answers are somewhat whimsical and do not have dictionary nature. As an example, the first line WEHEKILNDYU MAGOORIOD DGEAMEED CEONVECNETPT can be split up into HINDU GOOD DEED CONCEPT and WEEKLY MARIO GAME EVENT, whose answers are KARMA and KART MONDAY. In each case, the shorter answer appears as a subsequence of the longer answer reading left to right, which aids in solving the clues. For conciseness, the full list of clues and solutions are at the bottom of this page.
In each case, the two clues have the same length in letters (which can act as a confirmation), and also the length of the shorter answer is exactly half that of the longer answer. So, much like how we removed half of the letters in the original strings to make the clues, we can remove the shorter answers from the longer answers (e.g. KART MONDAY - KARMA = TONDY). In each case, the resulting string is the name of a superhero (sometimes the first name or surname) with a letter added. In this case, TONDY = TONY + D.

Each of these superheroes appeared in the film Avengers: Infinity War, and the general 50/50 theming of removing half of the letters hints at Thanos’s plan to wipe out half of all life in the universe. Indeed, out of these 20 superheroes, 10 of them died when Thanos snapped at the end of the film (highlighted in red) and the other 10 survived (highlighted in green). The letters corresponding to the surviving heroes spell out DEATH ORDER, so we can find the order the other 10 heroes died in the film: Bucky, T’Challa, Groot, Wanda, Falcon, Mantis, Drax, Quill, Strange, and (notably) Spiderman. This order can be found on Wikipedia, various online listicles, or some Youtube compilations.
Reading the letters corresponding to the disintegrated heroes in this order gives REST IN WHAT. The answer is therefore PEACE (RIP in pieces).

Author’s Notes
The idea for this puzzle began when some of us were talking about how we felt we didn't have enough pop culture-related puzzles (well, pop culture minus video games...) in the hunt, and I jokingly suggested a puzzle about the Thanos snap. After thinking about it more, we came up with this idea that incorporated the "removing half of something" concept in several ways.
The first version of this puzzle gave the clues completely mixed, without word breaks, but this proved to be way too difficult in testsolving so it was changed to what you see now. Unfortunately, this does make it harder to notice that the clues are the same length, but that observation isn't particularly important for the puzzle anyways.
Another version of this puzzle used the final cluephrase PEMARACIAE, from which you could take out MARIA (another character who died in Infinity War) to leave PEACE. However, it turns out to be somewhat difficult to find the correct order (one high-up Youtube result for Infinity War death scenes unfortunately has them in the wrong order), so we rewrote it to give a direct cluephrase instead. Luckily we were able to come up with something pretty thematic, and besides, "do it again" steps are overrated anyway. :P
