# Privacy Policy — PermCheck

PermCheck does not collect, store off-device, transmit, sell, or share any personal
or usage data.

**What it accesses:** the list of extensions installed in your own browser and their
declared permissions, via the Chrome `management` API (read-only).

**What it stores:** a snapshot of your extensions' permissions in `chrome.storage.local`
on your own device, used solely to detect when an extension gains new access between
scans. This never leaves your computer and is never synced.

**What it sends:** nothing. PermCheck makes no network requests of any kind.

**Third parties:** none. There is no analytics, no telemetry, no external service.

Because PermCheck transmits no data, there is nothing to request, export, or delete
beyond uninstalling the extension (which clears its local storage).
