# Using Premium Voices (Google Wavenet & Amazon Polly)

To use premium voices, follow the following procedure.


1. Click the Read Aloud icon on the [Extensions menu](https://i.imgur.com/KTqFZ3Q.png).
2. Stop any text that may be playing.
3. Click on the Gear icon in the Read Aloud context menu. (It may take a second or two for settings to appear)
4. Select `Enable Custom Voices` in ["Voice" dropdown](https://i.imgur.com/nNV5cCb.png).
5. A window should open, now the procedure is straightforward, simply create API key on your [Google Cloud](https://cloud.google.com/text-to-speech) or [AWS](https://aws.amazon.com/polly/) account with access to voices and enter the key in [opened window](https://i.imgur.com/V8MGWol.png).
6. Back in the options page on `Step 3`, you should be able to access and use the premium voices in the ["Voice" dropdown](https://i.imgur.com/ANoCOfE.png).
7. Enjoy the premium voice.
