SUMMARY (non-binding — the terms below control)

The Mushi Mushi *core* server (everything under `packages/server`,
`packages/agents`, and `packages/verify` that is NOT inside an `ee/` directory)
is licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License v3 (AGPLv3) — use it,
self-host it, fork it, and modify it for your own org. If you offer a *modified*
server as a network service, publish your changes under AGPLv3 (§13) or obtain a
commercial license (see /COMMERCIAL-LICENSE.md). The MIT SDK packages remain MIT.

The code in THIS `ee/` directory is the **Enterprise Edition**. It is
source-available so you can read, audit, modify, and test it, but **production
use of EE features requires a valid commercial license key**
(`MUSHI_EE_LICENSE_KEY`) issued by the licensor, or an active Mushi Mushi
Enterprise subscription. Without a key, EE features are for development,
evaluation, and contribution only.

This is the open-core model used by projects like Grafana, GitLab, and
Sentry: a genuinely open AGPL core, plus a small commercial boundary that
funds the project.

TERMS

1. DEFINITIONS
   "Software" means the contents of this `ee/` directory.
   "Licensor" means Kenji Sakuramoto / Kensaurus 合同会社.
   "Production Use" means any use of the Software other than development,
   testing, evaluation, or contribution back to this repository — including,
   without limitation, use to operate a service for third parties or internal
   business operations.
   "Valid License" means an active Mushi Mushi Enterprise subscription or a
   commercial license key (`MUSHI_EE_LICENSE_KEY`) issued by the Licensor.

2. GRANT FOR NON-PRODUCTION USE
   The Licensor grants you a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to
   use, copy, modify, and create derivative works of the Software solely for
   development, testing, evaluation, and contribution to this repository.

3. PRODUCTION USE REQUIRES A VALID LICENSE
   You may not make Production Use of the Software without a Valid License. The
   Software performs a license-key check (`MUSHI_EE_LICENSE_KEY`); removing,
   disabling, or circumventing that check to enable Production Use without a
   Valid License is a breach of this license.

4. NO TRADEMARK RIGHTS
   This license grants no rights in the "Mushi Mushi", "Mushi", 虫, or logo
   trademarks. See /TRADEMARK.md.

5. REDISTRIBUTION
   You may redistribute the Software only as part of this repository and only
   under these same terms. You may not offer the Software, or a service whose
   primary value is the Software, to third parties without a Valid License.

6. TERMINATION
   This license terminates automatically if you breach it. On termination you
   must cease all Production Use and destroy your copies used in Production.

7. DISCLAIMER
   THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR
   IMPLIED. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE LICENSOR BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES, OR
   OTHER LIABILITY ARISING FROM THE SOFTWARE OR ITS USE.
