# Operator hands-on report: gestures on installed build **Evidence class:** real-glass interaction, operator verbal report only. No camera recording, touch trace or timing measurement accompanies it. - **When:** 2026-09-24, shortly after about 22:00 UTC. - **Installed system:** `/nix/store/agcr8mk73qpqmzrl7vq6k0j7qj233225-nixos-system-nixos-26.11.20260919.20b1ddd`, built from `master` `89b80506`. It includes the app-switch swipe fix `00aa9025`, the keyboard-drag backdrop fix and the notification motion work. The running `sway` and `k230-shell-rust` executables were confirmed to come from this closure. The test activation's rollback timer was disarmed after a native capture matched the prior healthy frame. - **Report:** after trying the bottom-edge left/right app switch on the panel with a finger, the operator said: "ok gestures feel perfect". This followed the earlier complaint that 80% swipes snapped back and momentum was ignored (see the README next to this file). **Limits.** This report does **not** satisfy task 5.7 of `the-handheld-presents-a-coherent-shell`, or keyboard task 3.2. Both name a `tools/capture-feature.py … --provenance real-touch` recording, and those tasks stay open. It gives no latency, frame-rate or per-gesture coverage. It isn't known which of the listed sub-gestures (up-then-sideways, both directions, hold, diagonal reversal, end of deck) were exercised.
