# Home proposal closeout — 2026-10-09 Evidence class: operator acceptance, with previously committed board identity, host builds, QEMU wiring and injected-board checks kept distinct. The remaining task 11.4 check was stated as **right-click New Window**. The operator replied: > i confirmed it works This records acceptance of that named check. It does not invent a new per-event trace, a camera recording, latency measurement or window count. The existing six-check injected-board result proves distinct-window behavior separately: `app-actions/board/full-system/actions-result.json`. Task 11.4's primary focus and icon-drag acceptance is reused from the October 8 [real-finger report](real-touch/operator-report-2026-10-08.md). The October 1 [hold-and-drag report](app-actions/board/operator-acceptance-2026-10-01.md) and [navigation report](navigation/operator-acceptance-2026-10-01.md) remain separate evidence. The operator waived camera capture and the second-theme repeat for task 8.1. No daylight-readability result is inferred. ## Exact installed identity The October 8 and latest October 9 committed read-only records identify the same shell executable: `/nix/store/q2rxmp980f9kxi962f29333z9pbixvbk-k230-shell-rust-riscv64-unknown-linux-gnu-0.1.0/bin/k230-shell-rust` Sources: `docs/evidence/mainline-sd-throughput/postboot.json` and `docs/evidence/hdmi-hotplug/live-switch/normal-hotplug-runtime-state.json`. The latter records normal installed system/profile `/nix/store/yl3si5ak6yi709yg1fqsnwgq0zn4xfcs-nixos-system-nixos-26.11.20260919.20b1ddd`, boot ID `4bf73b24-a16a-4786-96fb-f1288244d96f`, accepted HDMI portrait output, virtual touchpad, and active shell/input services. The matching ordinary autoboot proof is `docs/evidence/hdmi-hotplug/live-switch/normal-hotplug-install-serial.json`. These are existing serial state records; no new board read or reboot was performed for this documentation closeout. The original task-11.4 individual Rust and HDMI-system builds and recoverable component installation passed, with concrete commands/store paths in [the board README](app-actions/board/README.md). The current installed mainline bundle also builds and has ordinary boot proof above. All 25 tasks now have their required proof or previously recorded operator exception; no new host build or injected run is substituted for acceptance. Physical fresh-install seeding, layout persistence across a reboot and daylight readability remain explicitly unverified in the spec; their host fixtures and the named accepted interactions are the evidence actually held. ## Integration ownership Worktree `/home/jadams/tmp/k230-close-home-final`, branch `closeout/home-accepted-2026-10-09`, base `6b4fe555645ac553914549fcd926d1f0902b65d1`. Owned paths: this report, the Home proposal's artifacts and archive directory, its work-board status entry and necessary dependency references, and the CLI-generated `openspec/specs/runtime/home-screen/spec.md` update. No source/runtime code changes, build slot or board/serial reservation are involved. Closeout proof commands: `openspec validate the-shell-presents-a-pinned-home-screen --strict`, `openspec archive the-shell-presents-a-pinned-home-screen --yes`, `openspec validate --all --strict`, `python3 scripts/render_work_board.py`, and `python3 tools/blob-scan.py --no-vendor`. Verify the synced Home additions and preserve all existing folder/widget requirements, then merge/push and inspect the matching CI/Pages deployment. No additional Home implementation or named operator acceptance remains after this report. HDMI's manual and landscape work and every other proposal remain open.
