# Wi-Fi Settings closeout: stale host gates

The broker, Rust shell and coherent-shell system cross-build completed
successfully. The persistent-service configuration check passed, including
the protected credential path and service configuration. These close tasks
1.4 and 2.5 of `the-handheld-configures-wifi-from-settings`; an earlier audit
had left them to the then-active source owner.

This is host build/configuration evidence. The image was not installed and
no board or network operation was performed. Tasks 3.1 (real input and
connection/failure/cancel/Forget) and 3.2 (reboot reconnect and Forget across
reboot) remain unchecked. The proposal remains open.
