1.Install Cygwin to compile Magnus

2.Instal ActiveTcl

3.Install Subversion, if you are going to use the subversion repository

4.The most recent version of Magnus is on the Subversion repository
http://svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/magnus/trunk/magnus

5.In cygwin console from magnus directory:
> ./configure
> make
> cp front_end/magnus front_end/magnus.tcl

For OS choose Linux, defaults for everything else

6.Either add .../cygwin/bin/ to windows PATH variable or copy cygwin1.dll to magnus/front_end

7.Then click on magnus.tcl from the Explorer.
