Chat Privacy Guard does not collect, store, sell, share, or transmit any personal data.

The extension runs locally in your browser and is used only to blur sensitive information on WhatsApp Web, such as contact names, message previews, messages, media, and profile photos.

The extension uses Chrome storage only to save your privacy settings locally on your device, including blur options, blur strength, presets, and reveal-on-hover preferences.

Chat Privacy Guard does not read, store, or send your messages to any server. It does not use analytics, tracking, advertising, or remote code.
