# Terms of Service

By using Checkers ("the Game"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Game.

## 2. Description of Service

The Game is a free multiplayer checkers game that runs as a Discord Activity. It allows two players to play checkers in real time within a Discord voice channel or text channel.

## 3. Eligibility

You must have a valid Discord account and comply with Discord's Terms of Service to use the Game. By using the Game, you confirm that you meet Discord's minimum age requirements.

## 4. User Conduct

When using the Game, you agree to:

- Play fairly and in good faith.
- Not attempt to exploit, hack, or manipulate the Game.
- Not use the Game to harass, abuse, or harm other players.
- Not interfere with the Game's servers or infrastructure.
- Not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Game.

## 5. Game Rules

- The Game follows standard checkers rules with mandatory captures.
- When a piece reaches the opposite end of the board, it is promoted to a king.
- Kings may move and capture in all diagonal directions.
- If a capture is available, it must be taken (forced jump).
- A piece that captures and can continue capturing must do so (multi-jump).

## 6. Availability

- The Game is provided "as is" with no guarantees of uptime or availability.
- We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Game at any time without notice.
- Game sessions may be interrupted due to server restarts, updates, or connectivity issues.

## 7. Intellectual Property

All content, code, and assets associated with the Game are the property of the Game's developer. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Game without permission.

## 8. Limitation of Liability

- The Game is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
- We are not liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the Game.
- We are not responsible for any loss of game progress due to disconnections or technical issues.

## 10. Changes to Terms
