# Community Calendar

**Comunity Calendar** is a lightweight web application for creating and sharing **public events**.
Its is designed for anyonw who wants to post events openly and allow others to easily acess them.

Built with:
- Frontend: React + Vite + Tailwind
- Backend: FastAPI + SQLIte

## Features
- **Add Events** -> drop your event title, time, description, organizer
- **Recurring Events** -> daily, weekly monthly, yearly (because one hackathon is never enough)
- **Stats Dashboard** -> total events, this month's events, next 30 days
- **Share Modal** -> copy link, email invite, or blast it to WhatsApp
- **Export to .ics** -> yes, you can actually add it to your "real" calendar
- **Edit/Delete Events** -> chaos, but reversible chaos

## Project Overview
Community Calendar was built to provide a simple alternative to overly complex calendar applications.
Its focus is on accessibilty, spee, and openness -- allowing communities, teams, and individuals to quickly share events without unnecessary friction.
