USPS Increases EV Plans
The USPS will buy 66K EVs by 2028.
The announcement dramatically increases a previous goal of just 10% of the service's 50K - 165K fleet replacement vehicles being electric.
The vehicles will now be funded in part by the Inflation Reduction Act's allowances for updating 600K government vehicles to EVs.
Telling it like it is - The ongoing feud between mail carriers and dogs just went silent covert-ops. How will dogs respond?

GM: Fires and Recall
GM recalled 140K Chevrolet Bolts over carpet fire risks. In the case of a crash, models between 2017 - 2023 could experience a rare instance of the front seatbelt pretensioner exhaust gases coming in contact with the floor carpet fibers and causing a fire.
Most of the vehicles are in the US, with about 20K in Canada.
Telling it like it is - Sounds like a Rube Goldberg machine and a comedy of errors rolled into one.

TECHNOLOGY
Batteries From The Sea
Sea Salt batteries could be the solution we didn't see coming!
With 4 times the capacity of lithium batteries and the needed material washing up on shore, the technology could power everything from phones to EVs.
Reducing mining and processing would combat the most significant impact EVs still have on the climate and environment.
Telling it like it is - It seems like the future of E-fuel, EV, Seasalt batteries, and hydrogen isn’t “either or” but “yes and.”
