Additionally, the suit claims Ford determined the Super Duty pickup's max payload capacity using "deceptive methodology."
🔥🤯 Three reports of exploding seat belt pretensioners have Hyundai recalling 239K vehicles in North America. The recall affects Accents, Elantras, and Elantra HEVs models between 2019 and 2023. Hyundai will notify owners by July 15, directing them to dealerships for no-cost repairs.
⛽💪 A diesel-powered 1979 Ford Ranger XLT claimed the top price at the Mecum Auctions in Indiana last week. The truck sold for $220K, towering $115K above the second-highest, a custom 1966 Chevy Corvette

A 100-Year Battery?
In a paper just absolutely thick with scientist jazz, Tesla and Jeff Dahn's Dalhousie University battery lab have announced a battery design that could last 100 years. An electrolyte with LiFSI lithium salts provides lower capacity fade and higher energy density than Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) batteries.
The catch? The only mentioned condition required by the test is temperature control at 77 degrees Fahrenheit.
