ASOTU Daily Push back

Let’s be honest, you have hot dogs to eat, fireworks to set up, and slip and slides to attack, full send.

That’s why we’ve cooked up a few lighthearted stories to remind all of us how the fabric of the Retail Auto Industry is actually just the fabric of America.

Happy 4th Ya’ll,

Beaver Toyota of Cumming doesn't give their associates awards; they give them BADASS awards. The associates who earned the award displayed care for Building And Developing A Selfless Service culture throughout the year. The first awards were given out last Christmas with the 2nd round of associates recognized July 1st.

Ashtin Olson, Marketing Director at Beaver Toyota, said “These team members go above and beyond the call of duty for their co-workers and this company.” Each winner was nominated by store leadership with a personal reason why they deserve the award.

Walt's Crysler Jeep Dodge Ram
has broken ground on a new campus and, like any good dealer, invited the whole town to celebrate! The location will become the new home of the Walt group's three-year-old CJDR business. The new location will be over 19k square feet and feature 3 customer experience focused areas - Service drive, Jeep, and one for Chrysler, Dodge, and Ram.

Digital Sales Director, Josh Bagley, said the new location will move the CDJR store to the booming side of town next to the group’s Ford store.

The Ohio Auto Dealers Association recently celebrated a $150,000 donation to the Christina and Ryan Day Fund for Pediatric and Adolescent Mental Wellness. Contributing dealers, sponsors, and Nina Day, a founding family member, joined together for the event.

Telling it like it is —  On the surface, a business provides what customers take when they walk out the door. Deeper down, a business can be an essential part of a local economy, a force of charitable support, or a kiln that produces the next experienced, informed, and confident industry leaders. Automotive's future is not written in Jim Farley's notebook, on Elon's blueprints, or even in the White House's best-laid plans. It is forged by the day-to-day service every member of the industry delivers. ASOTU knows it, and we will help others see it too.
