# Third-party notices This package is an independent DSH-side implementation, but it is a **derived work** of the project below and carries that project's copyright notice as its MIT licence requires. --- ## freellmapi - Project: **freellmapi** — - Copyright (c) 2026 Tashfeen Ahmed - Licence: MIT ### What was derived `dsh-freellmapi` ports freellmapi's **routing design** and reproduces its **provider catalogue**. In concrete terms: 1. **The provider catalogue** (`lib/providers.js`) — provider hosts, model ids, context windows, token limits, keyless behaviour and quota baselines are transcribed from freellmapi's own sources: `providers/index.ts`, `server/src/db/migrations/20260101_000000_legacy_baseline.ts`, `docs/en/providers/*`. Individual entries carry a `source:` or `note:` field naming the exact upstream file and line range they came from; those citations are the provenance record for this derivation. 2. **The failover and cooldown policy** (`lib/health.js`) — the escalation ladder follows freellmapi's own escalation rather than an independently chosen one. 3. **The routing model** — the idea of scoring a request and selecting a provider by tier, with automatic failover across providers, is freellmapi's design. This package re-implements it against DSH's `LlmAdapter` seam rather than reusing freellmapi's TypeScript code, which is why no upstream source file is vendored here. Where this package and upstream disagree, this package's source comments record the divergence and the measurement behind it; the upstream values were treated as a baseline, not as ground truth. ### What was **not** derived - No upstream source file is copied into this package. The upstream project is TypeScript; this package is plain JavaScript and shares no file with it. - The DSH integration — the adapter, the provider route, the settings schema, the browser half — is this package's own, written against the DSH plugin contract. - `apiKeyEnv` names are this package's own convention, not upstream truth: DSH resolves credentials by reference name, so each provider needed a stable one. See `lib/providers.js`. ### Upstream licence text The MIT licence requires that the following notice and permission notice be included in all copies or substantial portions of the software.
