We are committed to being fully transparent about how the extension works and what data it does and does not collect. THE SHORT VERSION CookieCrush collects nothing. No personal data, no browsing history, no tracking. Ever. WHAT DATA WE COLLECT CookieCrush does not collect, transmit, or share any user data whatsoever. The extension stores the following information locally on your device only: - Your Accept or Reject preference - A count of how many banners have been handled - Today's date (to reset the daily counter) This data never leaves your device. It is stored using Chrome's built-in chrome.storage.local API and is only used to power the extension's features. WHAT DATA WE DO NOT COLLECT - No personal information - No browsing history - No website content - No IP address or location data - No authentication information - No financial information - No communication data - No user activity tracking PERMISSIONS CookieCrush uses the following permission: - storage — used exclusively to save your Accept/Reject preference and banner stats locally on your device. CookieCrush requests access to all URLs solely to detect and interact with cookie consent banners on websites you visit. The extension reads only what is necessary to find and click the correct banner button. No page content is collected or transmitted. THIRD PARTY SERVICES CookieCrush does not use any third party services, analytics, advertising networks, or external servers. The extension operates entirely on your device. REMOTE CODE CookieCrush does not execute any remote code. All extension logic is fully contained within the installed package. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY If we ever update this privacy policy we will update the date at the top of this page. We will never introduce data collection without clearly updating this policy first.
