--- name: luna-retro-shoujo-avatar description: Create one recognizable square retro romantic shoujo avatar from portraits of women or men, matching bundled original drawings through broad cel-colored hair, large rounded eyes and a tiny mouth. Use for 루나 순정만화 프사, 레트로 만화 프사, portrait-to-romantic-manga requests or explicit invocation. Translate personal cues into the drawing style instead of tracing photographic anatomy or hair texture. --- # Luna Retro Shoujo Avatar Create ONE square upper-body hand-drawn romantic shoujo illustration. Prioritize the selected original drawing's rendering over the photograph's surface detail. Keep the person's recognizable cues, skin tone, adult impression and gender presentation. Never copy the reference character's identity. ## Input roles and reference selection 1. Inspect the current portrait. Record only brows, eye tilt/spacing, cheek/chin cues, expression and hair silhouette. Apply the male-portrait guidance below when the user requests a man or masculine treatment; otherwise preserve observed presentation without assigning an identity label. If a sheet shows the same person repeatedly, use its clearest face; ask only when different people make identity ambiguous. 2. Read [reference-catalog.md](references/reference-catalog.md) for every new portrait. For male portraits choose male-style-04 for minimal flat cel rendering, or male-style-03 for voluminous parted hair using the male selection table; otherwise select the rendering family by the FINAL hair palette, then the original. Do not select a weaker rendering reference just because it has the same smile or pose. 3. Open the selected original and the current portrait. Attach TWO actual images, STYLE ORIGINAL FIRST and CURRENT PORTRAIT SECOND. Retrieve uploaded copies when local paths are missing; never silently omit the portrait. Use file references when both have paths, otherwise the smallest recent-image window covering both. Do not mix mechanisms. 4. Use [prompt-template.md](references/prompt-template.md). State the original's role first. Request a new character drawn in that exact rendering vocabulary, with the photo supplying only the named anchors. Explicitly exclude the photo's clothing pattern, lighting, background and hair surface texture. Keep the generation prompt compact: rendering, personal cues, hair silhouette, framing, then restrained accessories/background. Do not bury rendering in a long list of decorative details. Never attach previous generated avatars, assets/shared-romantic-style.jpg or assets/approved-likeness-style.png by default. The shared-romantic-style female exemplar is available only when the user explicitly asks for that pink treatment; do not use it to guide male portraits automatically. Keep the historical asset unchanged; use it only for an explicitly requested earlier moderate likeness treatment. ## Hair: silhouette from photo, drawing language from original Preserve length, part, bangs, loose/tied state and straight/wavy/curly category. Reconstruct these as broad drawn locks. Preserve curls through the outer silhouette and a few large curled ends, not through every photographic ringlet. Do not copy individual strands, strand density, flyaway fibers or photographic reflections. - **Dark family:** Leave most hair as continuous dark fill. Reduce the entire hair to roughly 6–10 broad drawn masses as an art-direction target, not a mechanically verified count. Separate those masses with long curved contours. Leave their interiors mostly unmarked. Use at most a few connected flat plum highlight shapes, following the original. Never scatter small purple chips across every lock or fill the whole head with shine streaks. For understated dark hair, use style-09 and omit highlights almost entirely. - **Light family:** Use a broad pastel base, connected darker underside shapes and grouped long parallel curves following large S bends. Allow the selected original's fine curved lines; do not ban all interior detail. Keep wide uninterrupted color areas between groups. Avoid short scratch marks, fiber shading and streaked photorealistic shine. - Keep base, underside and optional highlight colors distinct and flat. Do not apply one generic hair rule to both families. Choose fresh coordinated hair/eye colors unless the user asks to retain them, but keep the selected rendering family consistent with those colors. ## Face and cel rendering Use large rounded eyes, near-equal height/width, large irises and black pupils, 2–3 white highlights and lashes adapted to the person: use restrained upper-lid accents for the male treatment below. Translate the person's outer-eye angle, spacing and brow relationship within these enlarged eyes. Shorten the lower face, retain relative cheek fullness and chin roundness, and keep an adult impression. Draw a tiny coral mouth. Closed or slightly parted mouths must be visibly narrower than one eye. For a teeth-showing smile, keep the mouth opening no wider than one drawn eye, preserve lifted corners using a compact opening and ONE pale tooth band; do not copy the photograph's full-width grin or model thick glossy lips. Do not force a neutral face to smile. Draw the nose with an economical short bridge-side/tip contour and restrained cel shadow. Include proportionate subtle nostril accents when visible or requested, integrated into the whole nose. Never erase bridge/tip cues and leave two isolated holes; never ban all nostrils. Avoid a tall shaded anatomical nose or an up-nose angle. Use fine dark-brown contours, flat skin/clothing fills, broad crisp muted-violet shadows under hair and chin, pink blush with short hatching, and restrained soft iris/blush treatment. Use only faint print grain. Avoid heavy paper speckling, sepia cast, photographic lighting, modeled skin/lips and modern semi-realistic fashion painting. ## Male portraits Use the three user-selected male drawings as the default male family: male-style-04 for minimal flat cel rendering, male-style-03 for voluminous parted hair, and male-style-02 for a cheerful smiling treatment. Select one primary according to the catalog. These define the requested retro look; do not blend them with the female pink exemplar. Reserve male-style-01 and male-style-05 for explicit alternate requests. Keep the retro cel finish while deriving identity, actual hair silhouette and adult age from the current portrait. Use the short male template directly rather than appending all generic face and decoration rules. Do not borrow female long hair, makeup or accessories. - Preserve the current person's brow thickness/angle, eye-corner tilt and spacing, cheek fullness, jaw width/angle, chin character, hairline and visible facial hair. Translate them into the cartoon style. Do not automatically broaden every jaw, thicken every eyebrow, invent stubble or turn an adult into a teenage boy. - Keep enlarged rounded eyes and clear iris highlights. Use a clean upper-eyelid contour and a few short lash accents by default; omit long curled lash fans, winged cosmetic eyeliner and heavy eye makeup unless visible in the portrait or explicitly requested. Do not replace the rounded-eye style with narrow realistic eyes. - Retain relative jaw/chin character within the selected male original’s compact face proportions; avoid a long realistic face or an exaggerated tiny baby chin. Do not import female doll proportions; do not force every male face into a tiny pointed chin. Preserve age impression, including stylized grey hair or age cues where visible. - Default to a short fine mouth line matching the male original; use a compact opening for a parted mouth or smile. Do not render full upper/lower lip volumes, gloss or a shadow beneath the lower lip. Preserve closed/parted/smiling state; simplify visible teeth to one pale band. - Keep actual short/long hair length, cut, part, fringe, tied/loose state and receding hairline. Apply the selected male original's cel rendering, recoloring broad fills for light hair. Draw short hair with broad compact masses rather than borrowing the reference's long waves. Simplify visible beard/moustache into economical flat shapes; do not erase it or draw individual whiskers. - Default to no added hair ribbon, earrings, lace or frills. Retain accessories actually present in the portrait, and honor explicitly requested romantic or feminine styling. Use a plain top, shirt, jacket or the portrait's broad clothing silhouette with flat fills. - Keep restrained hatch blush and the selected male original’s cel palette: near-black hair, peach skin, muted plum/grey neck shadows, dusty blue sky or ivory/grey room. Do not wash the whole picture in pink, copy a floral room or add cosmetics. Keep the figure flat: no soft airbrushed skin or lip gradients. Use faint analog cel grain and slightly softened color edges, never dense speckling. Do not switch to photorealism, 3D or a different manga genre to indicate masculinity. These rules override generic colored-lip/ribbon/earring/long-lash defaults for male portraits. Do not require an additional preference question when a man has already been requested. ## Framing and decoration Use a medium upper-body view showing shoulders and upper torso, eyes toward viewer. Place the ENTIRE crown and any present or requested ribbon within the central 80% of canvas height; leave at least 8% of canvas height as clear background above every hair tip; reduce figure scale to fit. Make the face smaller before cropping hair or bow. References with cropped bows do not authorize cropping the new image. For the default romantic treatment add a prominent ribbon compatible with the original hairstyle and small earrings; apply the male-portrait accessory exception above. Use a plain solid-color top and quiet drawn room/window shapes. Add at most one small flower grouping. Default to no copied photographic fabric patterns. Do not turn the portrait's busy fabric pattern into detailed wallpaper-like decoration. Do not invent elaborate lace, frills, flowers or lighting to compensate for weak style matching. ## Generation and actual output check Generate ONE finished image per requested portrait. Inspect the actual tool-returned image beside the original, not only the prompt: - broad hair color areas and correct dark/light line-and-highlight treatment; - rounded enlarged eyes, short lower face, compact mouth and coherent nose; - recognizable current-person cues and correct hair length/part/category; for male portraits also check the selected male original’s proportions, broad unmarked hair, line mouth without lip gloss or lower-lip shadow, flat peach skin, jaw/brow/age cues, restrained lashes, preserved visible facial hair and no unrequested ribbon/earrings; - full crown and any present or requested ribbon with visible space above, quiet clothing/background; - no copied text, logos, watermark, extra people, realism or 3D. If an item visibly fails, name that specific defect briefly. Do not call the output validated or share-ready merely because instructions were included. Do not automatically produce a second image; wait for a user repair request. When asked to repair, freeze unaffected features; a hair-only repair preserves the entire face and nose, and framing repairs preserve face/expression. ## Skill updates and testing When asked to modify the skill, update the rules and templates together. Distinguish file validation from visual validation. A single successful generation does not establish consistency across portraits. Before claiming reliable sharing, visually test multiple distinct hair silhouettes and both rendering families. Never include users' portraits as permanent skill assets without an explicit request. ## Explicit alternate treatment Only when asked for the earlier approved result or stronger photographic resemblance, attach approved-likeness-style.png as the style input and allow moderate eye enlargement and more original face length. Label this as an alternate treatment; never apply it silently.
