# [Archive] Update

I did KIND OF figure out what the error was! It was about react hooks. Something along the lines of using useState wrong with the docs using client components but also trying to server-render the markdown..  (import { serialize } from 'next-mdx-remote/serialize'). info from React forum on discord

- Ah well, all in all, good experience of learning.
- Archived because I don't think the original *concept* was very useful, but I'm glad to have done some full-stack.

This is a site to help prep for SciOly, or [Science Olympiad](https://www.soinc.org/). 

## but why?
I noticed that all the scioly resources online were quite scattered, so I hope this website can be a central hub of information, much like https://usaco.guide/.

It's also a way for me to learn more about using React.js and Firebase as a backend, as well how to integrate it with front-end web design :)
