THE BRAIN BRAKE, EVERY SPOKEN LINE IN THE FILM
======================================================

Speechify, 48 kHz 16 bit mono PCM wav. 6.9.2026.

ONLY TWO PEOPLE SPEAK. There is no narrator in the picture; the narration on
the website is a briefing for the animator and is not in the film.

FOUR VOICES PER CHARACTER, so the edit room chooses rather than is told.
Every line exists four times over. Pick a voice by listening to the same line
in all four folders, then take that folder whole: do not mix voices per line,
because a character who changes voice between sentences is two characters.

MANAN edmund, archie, rohan, chase
VIVEKA hugh, dominic, alec, joe

M1 TO M5 ARE ALREADY SHOT in Manan's own voice as live footage. Those wavs are
a comparison, not a replacement.

Files are numbered in FILM ORDER, so the folder reads as the scene.

------------------------------------------------------

01 1-12 MANAN 5.7s 1923, A.V. Hill puts runners on a treadmill and measures everything they do. [ALREADY SHOT: M1]
02 1-12 MANAN 2.0s Fatigue is in the muscle. [ALREADY SHOT: M2]
03 1-17 MANAN 3.4s You run, the muscle burns through its oxygen. [ALREADY SHOT: M3]
04 1-17 MANAN 1.4s The fuel runs out. [ALREADY SHOT: M4]
05 1-17 MANAN 4.0s And when the tank reads empty, the body stops. [ALREADY SHOT: M5]
06 19-1 VIVEKA 3.2s Ah. There you are. I was expecting you.
07 19-1 VIVEKA 3.2s Before we begin. Raise your right arm.
08 19-1 MANAN 1.2s I am trying.
09 19-1 VIVEKA 0.8s I know.
10 19-1 MANAN 2.7s I can't. Why can't I move it?
11 19-1 VIVEKA 0.9s Try now.
12 19-1 MANAN 3.4s That was you. It was never my arm at all.
13 19-1 VIVEKA 6.2s The arm is always yours. The permission is mine. And the permission is the key.
14 19-3 MANAN 8.5s Nineteen twenty three. Hill puts runners on a treadmill and measures everything they do. His answer is simple. Fatigue is in the muscle.
15 19-3 MANAN 8.1s You run. The muscle uses up its oxygen. The fuel is spent. And when the tank reads empty, the body stops.
16 19-4 VIVEKA 10.0s Pulse, breath, temperature, water, sugar. I read all of it, the whole time. That is what every one of those panels you walked past is for.
17 19-4 VIVEKA 4.3s And I ask one question with it. Can we carry on safely?
18 19-4 VIVEKA 5.7s The key is not how much is left in you. The key is how fast it is going.
19 19-4 VIVEKA 16.9s I do not wait for the tank to empty. I watch how fast it is emptying, and I stop you while there is still enough left to get you home. So no. Fatigue is in the brain, not in your legs. Up here. And it decides long before anything is actually in danger.
20 19-4 VIVEKA 3.0s When I stop you, the fuel is still there.
21 19-4 MANAN 7.7s It was. I saw it. The sugar cellar was full. The fat store was barely touched. The fibres were not torn.
22 19-4 VIVEKA 2.0s No. They never are.
23 19-4 MANAN 1.1s So the wall...
24 19-4 VIVEKA 4.0s Is a number I chose. Carefully. To keep you alive.
25 19-4 MANAN 2.4s Then it can be a different number.
26 19-5 VIVEKA 1.0s That is the key.
27 19-5 MANAN 1.1s The permission.
28 19-5 VIVEKA 3.0s You will not always have me to ask.

TOTAL 28 lines, 112 wavs.

UPDATED 6.9.2026: Manan's five scene one lines were in here only as two long
combined takes. On the frames they are five separate lines at 1-12 and 1-17,
so the zip did not match the film. Split, re-recorded, and renumbered.
