DoubleCheck ("the app") is designed to respect your privacy completely. This
policy explains what data the app handles and how.

## The short version

**DoubleCheck does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data.** The app
has no backend, no analytics, no advertising, and makes no network requests.

## What data the app stores

The app stores the following **only on your device**, using Android's local
storage (AsyncStorage):

- The checklist items you create (e.g. "Stove", "Front Door").
- Whether each item is checked, and the time it was checked.
- A short history of the last few days you completed your checklist.

This information never leaves your device. We cannot see it, and it is not sent
to us or to any third party.

## Data sharing

We do not share any data with anyone, because we do not collect any.

## Permissions

DoubleCheck requests no sensitive permissions. It uses your device's vibration
(haptics) for tactile feedback only.

## Children's privacy

The app does not collect data from anyone, including children under 13.

## Deleting your data

All data is local. You can remove it at any time by clearing the app's storage
in Android Settings, or by uninstalling the app.

## Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at the same URL with
a revised "Last updated" date.
