The Alma is now firmly entrenched as Cambridge's Rugby and Real Ale Pub having an amazing atmosphere for any international especially the Six Nations. You can take your pick from six excellently kept Real Ales and have some food from a traditional pub menu and sit and take in the rugby memorabilia on the walls. As well as having 3 big screens for sporting events it also has the honour of hosting 'The Songsmith Sessions" with Ezio every Wednesday(an open mic night for singer/songwriters) and having one of the best Quizzes in Cambridge every Thursday.

It's of the beaten track but still only a few minutes walk from Hills road or the Botanical Gardens. Lovely spacious pub with dart board and small but great outdoor seating(one of Cambridge's little Oasis's). Worth a visit, especially on a Wednesday night if you like to hear quality musicians for FREE! Can't fault the selection of Ales, some great guests- you actually forget it's a Greene King pub- Well Done Landlord.

The pub was excellent, although seating was limited as the pub was quite busy because of the football.
