This is a very comfortable village pub.There are two rooms with the bar going into each.There is always four cask beers on sale which are very well kept.The pub has just been awarded pub of the season by the Fylde branch of CAMRA.There is a good bus service from the village to Fleetwood Blackpool Lancaster or Preston.The pub is open 11am to11pm Sun to Thurs and 11am to12pm Fri and Sat.

Called in for a pint and to watch the football only to find that they had not got sky anymore.I had a nice pint of moorhouses premier which i enjoyed.

Called here on my way to Lancaster,the guest beer was Moorhouses Blond Witch.I normally drink darker beers but my friend said i should try it.I must say that it was very nice,and the landlord said that it had been there best seller over the week,and that he would try and have it on sale once a month.The pub had quite a few customers in for lunchtime and we spent a very pleasant hour before moving on to Lancaster.
