The Black Bull has recentley decided to start pushing real ale sales by getting a bit of variation (they only used to seel Tetelys). The pub is an L shape and has a pool table at one end. There is an outdoor seating area to the rear.

I decided to pop into this pub as I realised that they had recently been awarded Cask Marquee and that they had started placing advertisements in the Leeds Camra newsletter "Full Measure" saying they now had a range of cask ales. I used to go to this pub at dinner time regularly when I worked in Rothwell and they only had Tetleys on cask so it was good to see that they now had more to offer. Unfortunately the ales that they had when I went were not very interesting (all big names and similar tasting) but still better than just Tetleys Bitter.
