This pub used to be a gentlemans club and you can tell as soon as you walk through the door.There are chandeliers and large arm chairs and settees which look very expensive.There is a beer garden at the rear of the pub.The pub has seven cask beers. Opening Times Mon-Sun 12pm-12-30 am Food Served Mon-Thurs 12-2-30/5-30-9pm/9-30 Fri Sat. Sun 12pm-9pm

This pub was another first for us but a very good one.When you get sat down in these large armchairs with a pint of Boland cask beer you dont really want to move.The landlord and his wife were very pleasent and gave us a list of other good real ale pubs in the Lancaster area which we will hunt for on another day.
