The BRASS MONKEY is nicely situated in a side street between the railway station at one end and the shops and buses at the other. A friendly welcome awaits as well as some well kept real ale. There are three pumps with HSD on one and Tribute on the other two. All in excellent condition and at the right temperature. This pub and the publicans, Bob & Jan Keating, deserve their place in the GBG and seem likely to keep it for some time. Well worth a visit.
