Grandly titled as 'London's permanent Beer festival', a title it richly deserves, the Cask Ale and Kitchen is simply fantastic. One of the finest drinking establishments in Britain, describing it as just a pub simply isn't enough. 10 constantly changing real ales on draught, kept in perfect condition and sourced from all over the UK. A mouth watering selection of Bottled Real Ales from around the world; a fascinating ale book to browse; a wide range of other alcholic drinks and excellent food all add to the experience. Formerly the 'Pimlico Tram' now under imaginative new ownship the Cask Ale and Kitchen rightly deserves the praise and fame it is receiving.

In Pimlico, so where to go? No brainer this....the Cask Pub & Kitchen! Once again I rediscover the joys of a well run pub, with great staff, good food and a superlative range of Cask and Bottled Beer. On this occasion MALDON GOLD and CRAFT BREWERY MARTINIQUE RUM LAMBIC got top marks, but as there were eight UK and seven Foreign Real Ales on draught I admit to not trying everyone! Worth moving to the area permanently methinks!

I intended to pay just a quick visit on the 20th April 2011. Two hours later I was still there! All the ales I tried were in great condition, with FIVE TOWNS FREEBORN getting the highest rating. Just pay a visit soon and enjoy a great experience
