The Devon Hotel is owned by Greene King. Good value food and a restaurant area (which can be hired for private functions). There is an outside seating area to the front of the pub and a car park to the rear. Live sport is shown on two screens, but it's still possible to find a quiet corner in the restaurant area. Popular with all age ranges, with the average age getting younger on Friday & Saturday nights.

15-11-11 c.9:30pm.: Out for a quiet pint with an old schoolfriend we found the ManU vs. Marseilles game was on the big screen, but the restaurant area was still quiet enough for conversation. Busy for a Tuesday if it was any other pub but with footie and the older crowd playing dominos it was reasonably lively. The Abbot & IPA were of adequate quality - next time I'll remember to ask for it with the sparkler off :-)
