A pub facing the hospital on Rochdale Old Rd. I worked here when i was eighteen as a barman when it was owned by Crown Brewery,it was just named the Game Cock then i wonder why it became Famous,?We found it hard to find a place to park as there is not much space at the pub.The pub has a reputation for its home made curries.

The pub is across the road fom the hospital so we called in after a visit.There were three beers on the bar one called Cock bitter named for the pub.We had just one pint as the beer was very bland and not in very good condition.
