This is a delightful river side pub with a beach front outside seating area which has superb views over the Teign estuary towards Teignmouth and the open sea. The Inn itself is welcoming and cosy with staff that appear genuinely pleased to serve you. Good bistro style food is provided with a good spirits selection and well kept ale. The Ferry Boat Inn or FBI on the staff polo shirts, is to be thoroughly recommended.

Visited this delightful pub on the 30/9/2011 on a gloriously hot day. To sip a cool beer sitting beside the beach was a great treat. Once again the Real Ale was well kept and at the right temperature, with the OLD MOGGIE in particular worth a second pint! Try paying a visit on a sunny day and then when an Atlantic gale is blowing. You'll enjoy both.
