The Free Press is a small back-street pub built on the site of an old newspaper press. Saved from demolition 30 years ago, it now offers excellent beers, with one guest ale and three from Greene King. Leffe is also available on tap, as is cider. Single malt whiskies are also available. The pub serves excellent home-made dishes (except for Sunday evening). The pub features a snug and small walled garden.
