The Golden Rule is a lovely pub hidden away from the main road and popular with locals and regulars. There are at least four ale pumps which are constantly changing but maintain a good selection at all times . The pub is split into two seperate areas. Upstairs is a traditional pub feel while downstairs is more modern and plays host to live music and quizzes. All areas have large TV screens with Sky sports. There is a great atmosphere when quiet and a lively, exciting atmosphere when busy. The bar also offers simple but tasty lunch and snacks.
